Lucky number 22

My husband's lucky number is 22, which I've always thought was a bit odd.  7 is common, even 8 or 5...but 22?  However, today I finished block #22 on the BTCT quilt - or for the uninitiated the "Beyond the Cherry Trees Album Quilt"

Don't make the mistake of thinking I've actually done 22 blocks.  Sadly only 8 are complete and when the quilt is finally finished, there will be a total of 24 blocks as well as an applique border.  You can visit the blog here and the original website to download and/or order the pattern here.

My "S" quilt is moving along and I have chosen to quilt the renegade S differently, of course

and this week, during our balmy 23 degree winter, I finished my red jumper.

Don't look too closely!

Like that renegade S stitchery! It sure will be one fabulous quilt when finished. Well done on finishing the jumper and good progress on the BTCT! I briefly thought about doing that one but retained my sanity and left it to braver souls!

Lookin' good. The quilting on the s-quilt is great. I can't even think of knitting this time of year but maybe in a few more months.

My lucky number is 22 also....I have no idea why LOL. I wish I had joined in on the BTCT quilt but I'll just have to enjoy the ones your are making. I think your jumper came out wonderfully, it looks so warm and cozy!!

I had not seen the BTCT quilt before. It's nice. :) It would be neat if you share your work on it at the BOMs AWAY Monday linkies. If you feel like linking this post to yesterday's "party", here's my url: http://whatahootquilts.blogspot.com/

My daughter was born on April 22nd and has always considered 22 her lucky number.
Your Cherry Tree block is beautiful--and so is your sweater--even if I look closely!
(I thought I left this comment yesterday, but blogger was doing some crazy things--maybe they will both show up eventually.)

My cousin played hockey back in the day and his # was 22. I always liked that #. Your sweater(aka jumper) turned out very nice, I love the pattern at the bottom. Oh, and BTCT has 25 blocks, sorry, one more will need to be stitched!
This block is pretty, I'm going back to #12 next.

When those Cherry Tree blocks first started I didn't download them. But now that I see more and more done I"m wishing I did! Yours look beautiful!

Your number 22 is so pretty. Who cares if it is only number 8 in line! The jumper looks great. I have yet to finish one myself although I have started several. I think it is the "putting together" part that intimidates me.

I have been following Nicky too on her quest to finish her UFO's. I have so many and at all different stages and I often wonder what it is that makes me abandon something. I guess the starts are just so much more exciting. Love the reds in your post.
